We just learned that the State Attorney has appealed the verdict from Tønsberg District Court who acquitted a car driver who did not yield at an intersection, slamming into and seriously injuring a young motorcyclist on his bike. The largest broadcaster in Norway, the NRK, made it a top story on regional and national news programs on Wednesday 7 April, reporting that the case has drawn massive attention from riders all over the world and that the verdict has been appealed.
