Norwegian riders have fought and recently gained political acceptance for a more fair duty scheme on bikes - a CO2-based system - considerably reducing bike prices. But the motorcycle makers refuse to state CO2 emission figures on their bikes, thus blocking riders from having this considerable duty reduction on new bikes.

Two fellow rider's life work is in jeopardy. The road leading up to Biker's Farm has been closed for bikes!

Honda has unveiled that it will bring an electric bike to the market in 2010, thus joning the likes of KTM, Vectrix (if they survive), Zero and some other smaller brands to compete in this newish segment. I had to take my car to work today. The commute became a strong reminder of why motorcycles is a part of the transport solution in most cities of the world.

In my part of the world, the motorcycle industry pours out expensive, high-end, bling-blinged bikes that cost a small fortune. Hence, the hunt is on for the really cheap bike!
