M/C makers block cheaper bikes

Norwegian riders have fought and recently gained political acceptance for a more fair duty scheme on bikes - a CO2-based system - considerably reducing bike prices. But the motorcycle makers refuse to state CO2 emission figures on their bikes, thus blocking riders from having this considerable duty reduction on new bikes.

German friends needs help

World: The electric race is on!

Honda has unveiled that it will bring an electric bike to the market in 2010, thus joning the likes of KTM, Vectrix (if they survive), Zero and some other smaller brands to compete in this newish segment. But it is through racing bikes electricity will get the advantage it needs to become the future of moto power.

I had to take my car to work today. The commute became a strong reminder of why motorcycles is a part of the transport solution in most cities of the world.
